Questions about staying with us
Should I stay in Lake Tekapo or Twizel?
Lake Tekapo suits guests who want lake views, the Dark Sky Project and a village atmosphere. Twizel is quieter, about 45 minutes south, and closer to Aoraki/Mt Cook. Many guests split their stay between the two.
What is the minimum stay?
Two nights, unless a different minimum is shown for your dates.
Can I see the stars from the property?
All our homes are within the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve. On a clear night the Milky Way is visible with the naked eye.
